Speciality Barista espresso & milk skills, knowledge of bean to cup process, try multiple different coffees & visit speciality coffee shops, learn different coffee brewing techniques, work with different equipment & know how to clean and look after speciality machines. SCA Foundation Barista Qualification.
Work readiness and employability skills, including preparing and accessing work as a Speciality Barista.
A day’s work placement at a speciality cafe across London.

A work placement will be provided for all trainees at a speciality café and we will work with graduates to get further interviews and a job as Speciality Barista. For others a traineeship might be suitable.
8 weeks, 3 days a week for the first 4 weeks; 1 day a week paid work placement for the final 4 weeks.
Quality work placements at a high-end café.
You will cover all aspects of coffee and leave with a solid foundation to further your career in the industry. You will receive SCA accreditation: Introduction to Coffee, Foundation Barista; Foundation Sensory & Foundations Brew.
Support and an Employability Qualification, helping you get ready for work. Each trainee also has a personal mentor to support you through the work placement and into employment.
£2000 + VAT (free to some individuals and subsided for others)
We work with all our Graduates to progress them into work as Baristas. Last year 90% of our trainees moved into work in the coffee industry after the programme.
1 year, working full time at a speciality café with 1 day training per week.
Quality paid employment.
You will leave with the Head Barista Team Supervisor Level 3 qualification. The curriculum spans all elements of being a Head Barista from coffee knowledge and skills, to running a coffee bar, training staff, advanced sensory skills, financial management and quality assurance. You will also work towards the Professional SCA diploma.
This programme is free to individuals and free to employers.
All Apprentices are employed throughout the programme.
